Three things, done properly

Sales, service and hire, all under one roof

It’s a small shop with a lot in it. Whether you want to buy a bike, get the one you own running right again, or borrow one for the week you’re here, it’s the same counter and the same people behind it.

Bike hire

Manual and electric bikes by the hour, the day or the week. Comfy saddles, baskets, helmets and locks included, and sizes for the whole family.

  • Sizes for every age

Bike hire

Borrow one for an hour, or for the fortnight

Most people would rather not drag their own bike up the highway. Ours come with comfy saddles and the accessories you actually need, and we set the seat height before you leave.

The electric bikes take the effort out of the hills and the longer runs. The manual ones suit anyone after a straightforward, no fuss ride. We keep sizes to match different ages and fitness levels, so nobody in the group gets left behind.

The range

Bikes that suit the way Yamba actually rides

Flat streets, a river path, a wide coast road and a few real hills at the eastern edge. What we stock reflects that.

Electric

Pedal assist

The one people come back for. Takes the sting out of the eastern edge of town and turns a long ride into an easy one.

Beach cruisers

Upright, comfortable, and built for a slow roll to the beach and back with a towel in the basket. The classic Yamba bike.

Mountain and hybrid

Off the bitumen

For the tracks, the headland and the rougher bits of the coast road. Proper gearing and brakes that hold on a descent.

Where to ride

Ask us where to go. That part’s free.

We put together our own map of rides around Yamba for people who hire from us, with a simple loop of the breakwall and Angourie on it, and even the spots worth locking up and having a wander.

Yamba is mostly flat, so the tracks run from one end of town to the other without much work. Tell us how long you’ve got and we’ll point you at the right one.

We look after

  • Yamba
  • Angourie
  • Wooloweyah
  • Palmers Island
  • Townsend
  • Gulmarrad
  • Maclean
  • Clarence Valley
  1. 01

    The Ford Park Cycleway

A dedicated path that runs beside the Clarence River and carries on to Whiting and Turners Beach. Flat the whole way, so it suits anyone who has not been on a bike in a while.

  2. 02

    Out to the breakwall

The riverside path takes you to the Yamba breakwall, which is the pick of the town for a sunset. Pelicans, dolphins and the boats coming back in through the river mouth.

  3. 03

    South to Angourie

The coast road has a wide bike path and runs down past Spooky Beach, Green Point and the rock pools at Blue Pools, finishing at the Angourie Point surf break.

  4. 04

    The ferry across to Iluka

Locals and visitors both do this one. Wheel the bike onto the ferry, spend the day on the other side of the river, and ride back off it in the afternoon.

Can highly recommend this shop. Michael was courteous, informative and transparent in the repair my bike needed. He completed the job ahead of time the next day (and text me to say so). As a traveller I really appreciated the prompt service.
